How did Cedric's death effect you?
This is very depressing for me as I cried terribly. I had people asking me what was wrong.
I hated that he died but I guess in these books someone has to. I just wish Cedric wasn't one of them.

For me, I was shocked, but I never had any emotional attachment due to the limited time we knew him. If I'd see more of him or learned his character more, it probably would have been very bad. Alas, nothing more than a re-read and 10 seconds of shocked silence greeted mine ears and that was that. I moved on. (FYI, I'm not heartless...)

Dumbledore's death really effected me terribly. JKR says he is really dead too. I cried when I read that.

i cried when Sirius died. i don't think Cedric's death affected me as much as Sirius's and DD's. he probably would have been a valuable addition to the Order.
