 Tournament Rules
« Thread Started on Aug 30, 2006, 9:05pm »

Rules

1.You may sign-up to be a Champion at more than one school, however, you can only be a champion for one school.

2.No Help-This meaning no one at all from this forum or another can help you in the Tri-Wizard Tournament. If anyone is found breaking this rule then they shall be eliminated instantly and will loose all of their galleons and be banned for a month. I am serious about this people some people would love to play honestly.

3.Wands.-You MUST have a wand. They are free at all of the schools. If you do not have one then get one. If anyone is found to have added the wand their profile themselves or a staff member as done it for them.(meaning the user never posted for a wand in Diagon alley but has one)Then the user will not only be disqualified but the person who helped them will also. It goes against our global rules.

4.Supplies-You MUST have at least one parchment, one ink, and one quill. This is because an event may require you to write something. If you do not have those items then get them. You may use a broom.

Things you cannot use

Any books
Your Pet(s)
Your Robes(first of all you can dress casual and second why would you use them in the tournament if it physical.....o well)
Weasleys' Wildfire Whiz-Bangs
Stink Pellets
Trick Wands
Shield Hats and
Headless Hats

Things you can use no matter what

Your Wand
Your School Books (look things up)
Your Class notes
Admin Notes (things i have posted for my own knowledge)
your mind
your broom

5. You Must complete each task to move on. You must complete each task or face elimination. At anytime you can drop out of the competition however do you really want to sadden your house.

Ways of moving on

Complete the task
Turning in Task early

Ways Of being Eliminated

Did not complete the task at all
Turned in the task late
never logged on again
Has Quit

Prize: Winner gets 1000 Galleons and 100 House Points.

Each champion gets 100 Galleons for completing the tournament. They also get points for each challenge.

Each school chooses their own champions. (Yes there is more than 1.) Please put your name in the Goblet of Fire at your school. It is up to your school on how they choose their champions.
